Across Florida 200
The Across Florida 200-Mile Endurance Trail Run is a point-to-point journey that traverses the state of Florida from the west coast to the Atlantic Ocean. The course begins at the west end of the Withlacoochee Bay Trail in Yankeetown and finishes at the St. Johns County Ocean and Fishing Pier in St. Augustine Beach.
The route incorporates a variety of terrain types across its 200-mile distance:
- 110 miles of the Florida Trail.
- 10 miles of State Park trails.
- 40 miles of dirt roads.
- 20 miles of Rails-to-Trails paths.
- 20 miles of country roads.
Participants travel through several distinct sections, including 12 miles on the Withlacoochee Bay Trail, 20 miles of power-line trails along Lake Rousseau, and 50 miles through the Cross Florida Greenway. The course also includes a 60-mile stretch through the Ocala National Forest and concludes with a 20-mile Rails-to-Trails section leading into St. Augustine.
Twelve stocked aid stations are located along the course, providing water, sports drinks, and a variety of food such as fruit, chips, and sandwiches. Six of these stations provide hot meals. The event has a 96-hour cutoff time for all participants. Runners receive GPS trackers for live tracking, and an optional shuttle service is available from the finish area to the start line. All finishers receive a belt buckle, and cash prizes are awarded to the fastest overall male and female runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
