A two-day obstacle event at Gadsden Battlefield on June 19 and 20, 2026, featuring a Friday night rope climb, a 10K obstacle race in competitive and non-competitive categories, a Kids Challenge, and volunteer roles.

A Last Man Standing 12 hour loop run at Oxbow Meadows in Columbus, GA. Runners complete repeated 1 mile paved laps with a 15 minute cutoff, can run up to 50 miles, and receive only water and electrolytes at the main aid station.

A free multi loop group run at Old Camp Cosby Lake in Clay Alabama with ten prayer stations and dog tag lap counting. One lap is 1.55 miles and participants may complete as many laps as they choose.

An overnight 50 mile lap race at Hoover Sports Park East run on a 2.5 mile loop; finish within 16 hours to earn a custom belt buckle. Aid is available each lap and pacers and crew setups are permitted outside the course.

The Run the Hollow / Trail & Target will take place in Altoona on Saturday 27 June 2026. You can run between 4 and 10 miles.

July 2026

A Fourth of July tradition at Oak Mountain State Park, the 45th Peavine Falls Run features a chip-timed 8.2 mile race and race shirts, with registration details and a listed fee.

A multi-distance ultra on the Silver Comet Trail in Smyrna, GA, with 100 mile, 50 mile, 24 hour and shorter timed options. The flat out and back asphalt and grass course has aid stations, timing mats, and proceeds benefit homeless services.

A 7.4 mile trail run in Pelham, Alabama on July 4, 2026 that reaches King’s Chair on Double Oak Mountain. The third edition includes participant swag and a post-race gathering. Registration closes July 1.

A 2 mile cross country time trial at Veterans Park in Hoover, Alabama on July 21, 2026. Separate boys, girls, and open heats with individual entry fee $20 and team discounts for groups of five or more.

Experience a scenic trail run along the Lake Allatoona shoreline at Red Top Mountain State Park. Choose between 3.1 or 8.85 mile courses featuring a mix of rolling hills and wooded single track paths.

A trail event at Turkey Run Trail, West Point Lake on July 25, 2026 offering a 50K (ten 5K laps) and a Last Man Standing format on a 5K loop, with prizes, awards for top finishers, and participant shirts and medals.

Hotter 'N Hell at Oak Mountain State Park offers 9 mile and 18 mile trail laps that climb Double Oak Mountain and descend into Peavine Gorge, with creek crossings, Peavine Falls, mandatory water and electrolyte requirements.

August 2026

A night trail race near Anniston, Alabama, on maintained dirt and gravel roads with 10K, 25K, 50K and 100K options, cupless aid stations, alternating course direction by year, and a Double Down challenge for consecutive 100K finishes.

A trail and riverfront race in Columbus, GA offering 25K, 50K, and 50 mile options with a 100 runner cap, scenic sections along the Chattahoochee, and aid stations serving regional food.

A looped trail race at Oak Mountain State Park with long, steep climbs, mandatory water carry and aid stations at miles 4.83 and 7.84; options include a 10.76 mile lap or a two-lap 21.12 mile course.

An 8.88 hour timed trail event in August in Atlanta with multi-loop laps over river and through woods. The race has a no DNF, no cutoff, no crew policy and a flat $88.80 entry fee.

A backyard ultra at Oak Mountain State Park where runners attempt repeated 4.167 mile loops with about 500 feet of elevation change. The event is capped at 100 entrants and follows strict hourly start and course rules.
