The Southern Fried 50/50 is a trail and riverfront race held in Columbus, GA. The course starts at the Fall Line Trace Psalmond Road trail head and follows the Fall Line Trace with connections to the Dragonfly Trail and the Columbus and Phenix City RiverWalk. Runners pass views of the Chattahoochee River, areas of Oxbow Meadows, and sections featuring urban whitewater. The route also runs near Columbus State University and the National Infantry Museum.

Field size is limited to 100 runners. Time cutoffs are published for longer distances, with a 10 hour cutoff for the 50K and a 14 hour cutoff for the 50 mile event.
