The Standing Boy Trail Festival takes place at the Standing Boy Trails in Columbus, GA. The proceeds from the event benefit the Standing Boy Trail System.

Race Distances

The festival includes multiple races over three days:

  • Night Time Vertical 5K on Friday.
  • 10 Mile race on Saturday.
  • Canicross 10 Mile race on Saturday, starting five minutes after the human 10-mile race on an opposing loop to avoid congestion.
  • 50K race on Sunday.

Participants can choose to run one, two, or all three races.

Course Details

The course is a 10-mile loop. The 50K race completes this loop three times, while the 10-mile race completes it once. The loop returns to the start and finish area each time. The course features smooth, flowing single-track trails near the Chattahoochee River.

  • Swag: Every participant receives a unique finisher medal and an event t-shirt.
  • Time Limits: The 50K has a 9.5-hour cutoff. The 10-mile race has a 3.5-hour cutoff.
  • Western States Raffle: Finishers of both the Bootlegger 100 and the Standing Boy 50K are entered into a raffle for an entry into the 2027 Western States 100.
  • Parking: Parking is limited and requires pre-payment (unless a yearly pass is held). Carpooling is encouraged.
  • Refund Policy: Full refunds are available until three months before the race date.
