Standing Boy Trail Festival

Columbus, United States • 18-20 Sep 2026

Event

The Standing Boy Trail Festival takes place September 18-20, 2026 at Standing Boy Trails in Columbus, GA. The event offers the following race distances:

  • Night Time Vertical 5K
  • 10 mile
  • Canicross 10 mile
  • 50K

Participants may choose to run one, two, or all three races held across the weekend.

Course and races

The main course is a 10 mile loop that returns through the start and finish area each lap. The 10 mile race completes the loop once. The 50K consists of three laps of the 10 mile loop. Runners in the 50K may set a drop bag at the start and finish area. A fully stocked aid station will be available on course. The Canicross 10 mile runs on an opposing loop to reduce trail congestion and starts shortly after the 10 mile race. Finishers who also complete the Bootlegger 100 are entered into a raffle for an entry into the 2027 Western States 100.

Logistics

Parking requires prepayment unless the attendee already has a yearly pass (not a State Park pass). Parking capacity is limited and there is a restricted number of entrants. Time limits are set as a 9.5-hour cutoff for the 50K and a 3.5-hour cutoff for the 10 mile. The refund policy allows 100% refunds until three months before the event. Every participant receives a medal and a Standing Boy Trail Festival t-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
