Standing Boy Trail Festival

The Standing Boy Trail Festival takes place September 18-20, 2026, at Standing Boy Trails near 1701 Old River Rd, Columbus, GA. The event is held on flowing single track trails that run along the side of the Chattahoochee River.

Distances:

  • Night Time Vertical 5K, out and back with about 400 feet of gain
  • 10 mile race, single 10 mile loop
  • Canicross 10 mile race on the opposing loop
  • 50K, three laps of the 10 mile loop

The 10 mile loop returns through the start and finish area each lap; the 50K completes that loop three times. A headlamp or light is required for the Night Time Vertical 5K. 50K runners may use drop bags at the start and finish area, and a fully stocked aid station will be available.

Time limits are applied: the 50K has a 9.5 hour cutoff and the 10 mile race has a 3.5 hour cutoff. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Standing Boy Trail System. Parking requires advance payment unless a year pass is held, and on-site parking capacity is limited.

All participants receive an individual medal for each race. Additional participant items vary by race: 5K participants receive an insulated cooler, 10 mile participants receive a beach towel, and 50K participants receive a t-shirt. Refunds are available in full until three months before the event; after that no refunds are offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
