Standing Boy Trail Festival : Columbus, GA

The Standing Boy Trail Festival takes place at Standing Boy Trails in Columbus, Georgia over September 18–20. The event offers multiple off-road races on a roughly 10 mile loop that returns to the start and finish area each lap. The 50K consists of three laps of that loop while the 10 mile race completes one lap. Runners may use a drop bag at the start/finish for the 50K and a fully stocked aid station will be available on course.

The trail system follows single-track routes along the Chattahoochee and is described as flowing and smooth. Parking requires advance payment unless participants hold a year pass and parking capacity is limited; the event therefore restricts the number of entrants.

Additional event details include a raffle entry for an entry into the 2027 Western States 100 for participants who finish the Bootlegger 100 and complete the Standing Boy 50K. Every participant receives a unique medal and a Standing Boy Trail Festival t-shirt. A Canicross 10 mile race is part of the program and is organized to start shortly after the 10 mile race on the opposing loop to reduce trail congestion.
