The Big 50 - Pine Mountain, GA

The Big 50 Trail Run is a point to point trail race held at F.D. Roosevelt State Park in Pine Mountain, Georgia. The course runs along the Pine Mountain Trail from the Radio Tower trailhead in Warm Springs to the Liberty Bell Pool in the State Park. The route uses single track trail with climbs and drops through the park.

The 50K course includes five aid stations located around miles 5, 11, 16, 23, and 29. The 25K course includes two aid stations at miles 5 and 11. All runners are required to carry some form of hydration. Crew access is allowed at all aid stations except the mile 5 station.

Transportation options include a paid bus that returns runners from the finish area to the Radio Tower start. Participants who do not purchase a bus pass must arrange their own return to the start.

Items provided include a unique Big 50 hat for participants who register by April 15 and a finisher medal for all finishers. Overall awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each race, and the first overall finisher in each race receives a free entry to the 2027 Bootlegger Trail race.
