Chewacla Cha Cha

Chewacla Cha Cha - Auburn, Alabama

Chewacla Cha Cha is a trail race held at Chewacla State Park on September 13, 2026. The event takes place on wooded singletrack trails and benefits Valley Rescue Mission. The course uses one loop for the 5K and two loops for the 10K and includes gentle elevation changes.

• 5K : One scenic loop
• 10K : Two loops of the same course

Registration and fees are stated for each distance and increase after August 22, 2026. A guaranteed T-shirt size cutoff is listed as August 31, 2026, and registration closes on September 9, 2026. No transfers, refunds, or deferments are allowed. Limited race-day registration may be available.

Each entry includes a race shirt and a finisher award. Overall male and female winners are recognized for each distance.

Aid and safety provisions include one on-course aid station and one at the finish line. Stations will offer water, CeraSport, and individually wrapped snacks such as pretzels, chips, fruit chews, and candy. Participants are advised to bring their own water. Organizers reserve the right to remove participants from the course for signs of dehydration or distress.

An additional day use fee of $4.00 per person is payable at the park gate and is not included in registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
