Chewacla Cha Cha - Chewacla State Park, Auburn, AL

Chewacla Cha Cha is a trail race held on September 13, 2026, at Chewacla State Park in Auburn, Alabama. The event is part of the Southern Singletrack Trail Series and benefits Valley Rescue Mission.

The course runs on wooded singletrack with gentle elevation changes. Two race distances are offered:

• 5K : one scenic loop
• 10K : two loops

Both distances will start in staggered waves to manage the field. Aid is provided with one on-course station and one finish-line station offering water, CeraSport, and individually wrapped snacks. Runners are advised to bring their own water bottle; organizers reserve the right to remove runners who show signs of dehydration or distress.

Registration pricing is listed as $55 for the 5K and $65 for the 10K, increasing after August 22, 2026, to $70 and $80 respectively. Guaranteed T-shirt size cutoff is August 31, 2026, and registration closes September 9, 2026. A $4 day use entrance fee per person is required at the park gate and is not included in registration.
