Darter Dash is a trail running event held at Turkey Creek Nature Preserve in Pinson, Alabama. The event offers two distances:

5K

The race is organized by the Birmingham Ultra Trail Society, with the course using preserve trails and a short section of pavement. The route includes moderate elevation changes and several stretches that run alongside Turkey Creek. An optional Splash Challenge invites participants to tube down the waterfall at the finish area.

Event services include on-site packet pickup on the morning of the event and finish-line water and typical aid station items. There is no race day registration. A pancake breakfast with mimosas will be provided after the run. Post-race activities include a brief award ceremony for top finishers and sponsor giveaways.
