Tomahawk Trail Endurance Challenge

The Tomahawk Trail Endurance Challenge is a two hour loop event held at Oneonta High School in Oneonta, Alabama. Participants run the cross country course as many times as they can within the two hour period; each loop measures 1.35 Miles. A donation of $20 or more is appreciated at packet pickup; the donation provides a bib and entry into the competition.

The course is typical cross country terrain with grass and hills. Regular running shoes are acceptable. Flagging on the trail and volunteers will be present to direct participants. A race photographer is listed as to be determined.

Registration opens March 20, 2026 and closes August 29, 2026. Official registration fee is listed as free, with donations accepted at packet pickup to support event timing and program costs. Parking is available in the elementary school parking lot. Proceeds go to Oneonta High School Cross Country and the event is sponsored by OHS XC.

Awards are given to the top male and top female overall and to the top male and female in school. Anyone completing nine loops within the two hour window will receive a special medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
