The Husky Trail Fest is a trail running event held at 4600 Riverbend Rd in Trussville, AL. The event offers multiple looped distances and uses a repeated 5-mile loop for the longer races; the shortest option is a shorter version of that loop.

There are two regular self-serve aid stations on course. Participants in the 50K and 25K have the option to set up a personal aid station at their car at the start/finish area or inside a cooler or storage box in a designated spot at the start/finish area. All multi-lap participants (50K–15K) receive a dog tag that is punched on each lap to track laps. 50K relay teams receive a baton that must be punched by each member after their leg; team members receive their dog tags once the last person finishes. 5K participants receive a dog tag at finish.

Packet pickup is available the day of the race beginning at 10:30am. There is a hard cutoff for all participants at 8:00pm. One More Hill t-shirts and running hats are available for separate purchase leading up to and the day of the event. All proceeds will go to the Trussville Historical Society. A free multi loop group run at Old Camp Cosby Lake in Clay Alabama with ten prayer stations and dog tag lap counting. One lap is 1.55 miles and participants may complete as many laps as they choose.

An overnight 50 mile lap race at Hoover Sports Park East run on a 2.5 mile loop; finish within 16 hours to earn a custom belt buckle. Aid is available each lap and pacers and crew setups are permitted outside the course.

A Fourth of July tradition at Oak Mountain State Park, the 45th Peavine Falls Run features a chip-timed 8.2 mile race and race shirts, with registration details and a listed fee.

A 7.4 mile trail run in Pelham, Alabama on July 4, 2026 that reaches King’s Chair on Double Oak Mountain. The third edition includes participant swag and a post-race gathering. Registration closes July 1.
