Husky Trail Fest

The Husky Trail Fest is a trail running event in Trussville, AL on November 21, 2026. The course is a repeated 5K loop that follows the Original Husky Challenge route as closely as possible and begins and ends in the Trussville Youth Football Field parking lot. All race proceeds go to the Trussville Historical Society.

The event includes two regular self serve aid stations on the course. Participants in the 50K and 25K have the option to set up a personal aid station in their car in the start finish parking lot or inside a cooler or storage box at the start finish aid area. Multi lap entrants (50K, 25K, 15K) receive a dog tag at registration that is punched each lap as a lap counter. A 50K relay is available; each team receives a baton that must be punched by each member after their leg. 5K finishers receive a dog tag after finishing.

Packet pickup will be available the day of the race beginning at 9:45am. Participants who expect to be on the trail after sundown should bring a headlamp. Entry fees are listed between 20.00 and 25.50 USD. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
