The Rebecca Mountain event in Sylacauga, AL is a point to point trail race held on September 12, 2026. The event marks the tenth running and lists three distance options: a 50 Miler, a 50K, and a 25K. The 50 Miler follows the Pinhoti Trail across Horn Mountain and Rebecca Mountain before finishing on the Sylaward Trails at Lake Howard and features approximately 5,171 feet of elevation gain. The 50K shares the 50 Miler course for the first 19 miles before routing to the Sylaward Trails for the finish.

Packet pickup is scheduled the Friday before the race at Lake Howard and also on race morning at the Porters Gap trailhead. Bus transportation from Lake Howard to the start is available for a fee and parking at the start is limited. Restrooms are provided at the start and finish. Aid stations are placed at named locations including Pinnacle, Powerline, Bulls Gap, Rebecca Tower (drop bag), Trammel, Bill’s Creek Loop, and the Finish. Time limits are listed as 16 hours for the 50 Miler and 10 hours for the 50K.

Race policies include no refunds, no race day registration, no entry transfers, and no deferrals. The course prohibits strollers, animals, bicycles, and unentered runners.
