A circular 30 mile ultra through mid Wales on 2 May 2026, starting and finishing at Dol Lys Camp Ground in Llanidloes. The route follows Sarn, Glyndwr’s Way, Severn Way and Wye Valley Walk and reaches the source of the River Severn.

Take on the Caradoc Classic, a scenic 3.5 miles fell race from Church Stretton climbing about 268 m. Part of the local Summer Series, this friendly community event includes junior races and on the day entries.

Ultra-Trail Snowdonia by UTMB is a UTMB World Series trail running event in Llanberis, North Wales, offering races from 25 km to 164 km with large elevation gains across technical mountain terrain. It is scheduled for 15 to 17 May 2026.

A mountain trail marathon and a ten mile race around Pen Y Fan and Talybont Reservoir, both starting and finishing at Parkwood Dolygaer. The marathon has three checkpoints and a six hour cutoff at 20.5 miles.

Starts at The Unicorn Inn in Telford, the route follows Ironbridge Gorge and the Silkin Way. Options include eight miles, sixteen miles or a full marathon and food and ales will be available afterwards.

Run the Shropshire Historic 50K from Telford Town Park to The Quarry Park in Shrewsbury on 16 May 2026, via Ironbridge, Buildwas Abbey and Wroxeter Roman City. Officially measured with chip timing, nutrition stations and free photos.

Tackle the 10 mile Sirhowy Challenge on 17 May, a scenic multi terrain loop climbing 1500 ft to Machen Trig Point through the rolling Sirhowy valley. Undulating terrain suits adventurous runners and all finishers receive a drinks token.

The Batch Bash will take place in All Stretton on Wednesday 20 May 2026. You can run 5 kilometers.

A 26.2 Miles trail marathon near Bridgend that crosses quarry, forestry and historic Bedford ironworks. The course is marked with GPX available, has five feed stations and is limited to 60 entrants.

Tackle the Telford T50, a 50 mile trail around scenic Shropshire with views of Ironbridge and the Wrekin on 23 May 2026. Organised by How Hard Can It Be Events, the pre marked course mixes trails and roads with aid stations and cake.

Enjoy a lively 6.5 km hill run on Mynydd Myfyr near Oswestry with mixed terrain and 150 m of climbing, supporting Trefonen Hill Walk Weekend. Entry on the day welcome; scenic views and prizes make it a rewarding spring challenge.
