Event

The Malvern Midsummer Marathon is scheduled for 20 June 2026 at Colwall Village Hall, Mill Ln, Malvern WR13 6EQ. The event is organised by LDWA - Heart Of England. Two route options are offered.

Distances

  • 27 miles (approx. 5000 ft ascent, tracks and paths, 4 checkpoints)
  • 15 miles (2 checkpoints)

Route and facilities

Both routes use a common first half and run clockwise around the route. The longer route covers the full Malvern Hills and includes Oyster Hill, Ledbury, Bromsberrow and the main ridge from British Camp after the northern Malverns. Both routes pass through Cradley, Mathon, Colwall and Evendine. Checkpoints provide a variety of snacks and drinks. A hot meal and pudding are served at the finish. No mugs will be provided at checkpoints or at the finish. Certificates and badges are presented to all who return to the event headquarters. Dogs are not allowed on the challenge. The 2026 routes are the same as the 2025 Malvern Midsummer Marathon.

Entries and fees
