Paddy Buckley Recce / Fun Run - Snowdon
This event is a recce and guided running day that covers the Paddy Buckley leg from Beddgelert Forest (A4085) to Llanberis across the Snowdon Range. The route for the day is approximately 20 km with about 1,900 m of ascent. The event takes place on 14 June 2026 and is located in Llanberis, North Wales (LL55 4HA).
Participants run in small groups led by experienced runners who hold Mountain Leader qualifications as a minimum. Guides on the day have completed the full Paddy Buckley Round and provide route knowledge, advice, and guidance aimed at building technical ability and confidence on this section of the round.
The Paddy Buckley Round is described as covering 61 miles, crossing 47 peaks with over 8,500 m of height gain; this event focuses on the Beddgelert Forest to Llanberis section of that round. Entry is limited to those aged 18 or older. The listed entry fee is £65. Entries open on 17 September 2025 and close on 12 June 2026.
