Paddy Buckley Recce / Fun Run - Snowdon
This event is a recce of a leg of the Paddy Buckley Round, running from Beddgelert Forest (A4085) to Llanberis over the Snowdon Range. The day covers approximately 20 km with about 1,900 m of height gain. The full Paddy Buckley Round is 61 miles, crosses 47 peaks and includes over 8,500 m of total ascent; this event focuses on the Beddgelert Forest to Llanberis section.
Participants run in small groups led by experienced runners who hold Mountain Leader qualifications as a minimum and who have completed the round. Guides provide route knowledge, advice on line choice and technical guidance during the day to help participants learn the leg and build confidence on the terrain.
Entry details include a minimum age of 18 and an entry fee of £65. The event date is 14 June 2026; entries open 17 September 2025 and close 12 June 2026. There is an option to purchase event cover that may allow refunds in some circumstances.
