Lake Vyrnwy 10k is a trail/multiterrain running event staged on private land within the Lake Vyrnwy Estate near Llanwddyn. The approximately 10-kilometre course combines fast footpaths, grassy sections, rocky stretches and some tarmac, with climbs and sweeping views over the water. The event aims to welcome participants of all abilities, from fitness enthusiasts to charity runners, and finishers receive a medal. Runners benefit from two water stations around 4km and 6.7km, and top three male and female finishers are recognised.
