Lake Vyrnwy 10k
The Lake Vyrnwy 10k is a trail and multi-terrain running event taking place on private land in Llanwddyn on 21 June 2026. The course is approximately 10 km and runs across the Lake Vyrnwy estate, using a mix of fast footpaths, grassed areas, stoney sections and tarmac. The route includes climbs and fast downhill sections and is not published publicly because it is on private land.
Parking is located a short, two minute walk from the start and finish area on the private estate. Parking costs £3 per car payable in cash on arrival. Full arrival instructions and postcodes are sent to entrants before the event, and event signage will be in place on the day.
The race provides water stations at about 4.0 km and 6.7 km, and water is also available by the start and finish areas. Participants receive a finishers medal. There is a help desk at the start/finish area and music will be played near the race headquarters.
Entry is open to people aged 16 and over. Awards are given to the top three female and top three male finishers. The event describes a community of participants taking part for fitness, competition, charity, health, fun or to complete the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
