Lake Vyrnwy 10k overview

The Lake Vyrnwy 10k is a trail and multi-terrain running event organised by Adrenaline Sporting Events. It is scheduled for 21 June 2026 and is billed as approximately 10k in distance. The race takes place on the Lake Vyrnwy estate, with the race headquarters, start and finish located on private land in Llanwddyn.

Race details and logistics

The route uses multiple surfaces across the estate, including fast footpaths, grass, stoney sections and tarmac, with climbs and downhill stretches and views overlooking the lake. The exact route is not published because it is on private land. Minimum age for the 10k is 16 years.

Parking is a short walk from the start/finish arena on private estate land; parking on the day is charged at £3 per car (cash). Full instructions and postcodes are sent to runners before the event and event signage will be in place on the day. The start/finish area will include a help desk and music.

There are planned water stations at about 4 km and 6.7 km and additional water at the start/finish area; runners are encouraged to bring a suitable bottle. Finishers receive a medal and post-race goodies. Awards are given to the top three female and top three male finishers. Results and event photos are published after the event.
