The Lake Vyrnwy 10k is a trail and multi-terrain running event. It takes place on Sunday, June 21st, 2026, within the Lake Vyrnwy estate in Llanwddyn.

Route & Terrain

The route is approximately 10 km long and showcases areas of the private estate. The course is a mix of surfaces, including fast footpaths, grassed areas, stony sections, and tarmac. It includes climbs with views of the lake and fast downhill sections. The specific route is not published out of respect for the private landowners.

Two water stations are provided on the course, at around the 4 km and 6.7 km points. Runners are encouraged to bring their own bottle.

Event Details

The race start and finish are in the same location on private land in Llanwddyn. Detailed instructions and a postcode for Race HQ are sent to participants before the event. Parking is available for £3 per car (cash on arrival) and is a two-minute walk from the start/finish arena.
