Lake Vyrnwy 10k

The Lake Vyrnwy 10k is a trail and multiterrain running event held on the Lake Vyrnwy estate in Llanwddyn on 21 June 2026. The advertised distance is approximately 10k and the course stays on private land, so detailed route maps are not published.

The route combines fast footpaths, grassed sections, stoney stretches and short lengths of tarmac. The course includes climbs with views over the lake and faster downhill sections. Organisers plan water provision at around 4 km and 6.7 km on the 10k route, plus water at the start and finish areas; runners are asked to bring a suitable bottle if they wish.

Race headquarters, start and finish are on private land in Llanwddyn. Parking is a short walk from the arena; full parking instructions and postcodes are emailed to participants before the event. Parking on the estate is charged at £3 per car payable in cash on arrival and the parking area is on private property, so respectful conduct is requested.

Finishers receive a medal. Awards are given to the top three female and top three male finishers. Minimum age for the 10k is 16 years. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
