May 2027

Trail running at Staveley Recreation Ground with 5K, 10K, half marathon and family fun trails, varied Lakeland terrain and on-site music and facilities.

A 90K UTMB Index 100K ultra along the historic Pilgrim Way from North Queensferry to St Andrews Cathedral. The fully marked route crosses towns such as Dunfermline and Ceres, includes 1,200 m of ascent and GPS tracking.

A 14 km fell race in Coniston on 1 May 2027 with 1065 m of ascent, pre entry only via SI Entries and fees for members and non members; parking is at Coniston CE Primary School only.

Half marathon and 10K through Whinlatter Forest on 2 May 2027, with live chip timing, Canicross friendly entries and scenic views across Keswick and Skiddaw.

A 47 miles (75K) fully waymarked ultra around Lake Windermere open to runners and walkers, with GPS tracking, six feed stations and a bag drop at Troutbeck. Competitors must carry mandatory kit and complete the route within 24 hours.

A 14.5 km fell race on 8 May 2027 from Rydal Hall, Ambleside, with 914 m ascent. Entrants need fell-racing experience and map-and-compass navigation; the route is only partly flagged and has five checkpoints.

A supported 37 mile mountain trail along the Pennine Way from Teesdale to Alston, passing High Cup Nick, Crossfell and several staffed checkpoints.

A 5 km obstacle event at Beveridge Park, Kirkcaldy, on 9 May 2027. The grass-start course loops through parkland with steep hills and obstacles; participants must be 13 or older and a minimum fundraising target applies.

A 50-mile point-to-point trail from Kendal to Preston on 15 May 2027 with seven checkpoints, mandatory kit, participant tracking and a 13 hour cut-off. Pre-registration only, entry fee £95 and registration closes 9 May.
