Ultra Tour of Arran

The Ultra Tour of Arran is a two day, supported ultramarathon around the Isle of Arran covering 60 miles (97 km). The route crosses a variety of surfaces including coastal paths, boardwalks, forest tracks, glens and mountain terrain, and passes notable features such as Goatfell and the Bog of Doom.

The event is fully waymarked and staffed at key locations. Support includes staffed pit stops, a sweeper service to move participants who withdraw, and an on‑site professional medical team. Participants receive a finisher medal and a Rat Rag at registration. Registration and tracker collection take place in Brodick at the Event Village, and the satellite tracker must be collected before the event and returned afterwards.

Mandatory kit is required and checked during the event; examples include a method of carrying kit, trail shoes with grip, waterproof jacket and trousers with taped seams, minimum 2 litres of water capacity, a bivvy bag, basic first aid, whistle, a GPS tracker provided by the organiser and sufficient food (minimum 400 kcal emergency supply). The route may be changed for safety or operational reasons. The event is non competitive in format and does not use podium places or finishing order results.

A 12 hour ultra on a roughly 4 km loop at Dean Castle Country Park with both solo and team relay options, chip timing, a medal, and on site facilities.

Approx 10K trail race around Brodick on the Isle of Arran with rough footpaths, forestry roads and about 600 feet of ascent and limited tarmac.

3 Oct 2026 OCR at Wheatrig Farm featuring a 3km with about 25 obstacles and a 400m sprint with 12 obstacles; youth and competitive divisions, limited entries.

Annual charity 10 km trail run and walk at Eglinton Park in Ayrshire, with a marked course and fundraising for local mental health charity Release Ayrshire.
