Fit Body Farm OCR : 3km and 400m at Wheatrig Farm
The Fit Body Farm Obstacle Course Race takes place on 03 Oct 2026 at Wheatrig Farm, Kilmaurs, Ayrshire (KA3 2NG, what3words: vets.played.reduce). The event offers two race formats: a 3km OCR with approximately 25 obstacles on fields, short hills, burns (streams) and trails, and a 400m sprint course with 12 obstacles.
The 3km event is open to participants aged 5 years and up with the following divisions:
- 3km Competitive 14+ (counts for the 3km UK Series and Scottish OCR Series)
- 3km Competitive 10-13
- 3km Open Fun Wave for ages 5 and up (under 10s must be accompanied by an adult)
The 400m sprint is open to runners aged 10+ and includes one timed run before semi finals and finals; it forms part of the OCR Sprint UK Speed series. Runners aged 10+ may double up and enter both the 3km and 400m. To have competitive results counted towards series standings, athletes must hold British Obstacle Sports membership.
Competitive racing uses on-course marshals; each runner will have a marshal to record times and penalties. Obstacles are mandatory or single-attempt; a one minute penalty is added for each failed obstacle. Entry limits apply: 3km competitive and fun waves each limited to 40 entrants, and the 400m limited to 40 runners. Toilet facilities are available on site.
Event conditions include: appropriate clothing and footwear (no football boots or spikes), under-16s require parental permission, entry fees are non-refundable, a £5 fee applies for entry transfers, participants enter at their own risk, adverse weather may cause rescheduling, and photographs or filming may be used by organisers and partners. If already signed up for the OCR Coaching block starting 22 Aug, those participants are already on the 3km entry list and need not enter again; they may still enter the competitive 400m.
