Fife Pretty Muddy 5k - Beveridge Park

The Fife Pretty Muddy 5k takes place on Sunday 10 May 2026 at Beveridge Park, Abbotshall Road, Kirkcaldy. The event is for people aged 13 and over. Entry fees listed are Adults £22.49 and Children £12.00, with a minimum fundraising target of £50.00.

The course starts and finishes on grass and loops around the park, alternating between the perimeter pavement and grass. The route passes the boating lake and play parks and includes some hills that are steep. Pretty Muddy events run in staggered waves every 15 minutes. The course features obstacles to climb, crawl and slide through. Marshals are available to assist and participants may skip an obstacle if needed. There is a separate Pretty Muddy Kids option for children aged 12 and under.

On-site facilities include refreshments and toilets. General event parking is not available; Beveridge Park Car Park is listed for drop offs and Blue Badge parking. The closest train station is Kirkcaldy, about a 10 minute walk, and several bus services stop nearby. There are no bike racks and the event is not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs. Sunflower wristbands and BSL stage content are available, and Event Managers are trained Dementia Friends.
