Fife Pretty Muddy 5k

Fife Pretty Muddy 5k takes place in Beveridge Park, Kirkcaldy, on 9 May 2027. The event uses a grass start and finish on the field adjacent to Kirkcaldy Rugby Club and the course loops around the park, moving between perimeter pavement and grass.

The route passes the boating lake and play parks and includes some steep hills. The event runs in staggered wave start times, with each wave beginning every 15 minutes. Marshals are on the course to assist and participants may skip obstacles if needed.

Travel access notes: the nearest park entrance to the start is on Abbotshall Road. Kirkcaldy train station is about a 10 minute walk from the site and several bus services stop a short walk away. General event parking is not available at the venue; Beveridge Park Car Park is used for drop offs, volunteer parking and Blue Badge parking, with Blue Badge parking approximately 70 m from the event on tarmac. There are no cycling racks on site and the closest electric car charging is at Kirkcaldy train station.
