SkyRun Eryri in Rhyd-Ddu, Eryri/Snowdonia stages four mountain races from 16 km to 55 km on 15 August 2026, with large elevation gains, aid stations and a mix of ridgelines, scrambling and technical trails.

Test your speed against a moving locomotive in the scenic landscape of Tywyn Mid Wales. With distances ranging from a toddler trot to a fourteen mile multi terrain course there is a race for every age group.

Experience an obstacle course race at the historic Badminton Estate in Gloucestershire. Choose from 5K, 10K, or 21K distances featuring up to 30 obstacles across a fast and flat countryside course.

Take on the Piethorne Fell Race on Sun 16 Aug 2026: a 10 km test with 275 m of climb across the scenic South West Pennines. Starts at the Bulls Head in Newhey with cash prizes for record breakers and both pre entries and on the day entry.

Experience a scenic run through Avenham and Miller Parks in central Preston. Choose from four distances including a 10k or an ultra marathon on a flat loop course along the River Ribble.

Join this monthly trail series at Wirral Country Park featuring an 8 km course. Open to runners aged 16 and over, the event offers individual race entries and series trophies across multiple age categories.

Challenge yourself on the Pilgrims Cross Fell Race across the West Pennine Moors, a scenic but tough 10.7 km with 390 m of climb. Entry is on the day only with a small fee, and the race features in the Rossendale midweek series.

A self-navigated trail event in Edale with four distances across steep, muddy and rocky terrain; GPX maps and staffed checkpoints are provided, and some kit is mandatory.

The Beast of Llangattock will take place in Llangattock on Saturday 22 August 2026. You can run between 10 and 32 miles.

Run along the scenic trail paths of Carsington Water in Derbyshire. Choose between an undulating half marathon or 10k loop while enjoying views of the reservoir and surrounding countryside.

Third and final event in the 2026 Summer Series at Chorlton Water Park, featuring lap-based timed running on a 5.3 km riverside course with a seven hour limit and a finishers medal for every participant.

Great British Bake Run at Dare Valley Country Park pairs running with a baking competition and a cupcake magnet medal. Multiple distances and a 7 hour time challenge are offered, with aid tables, goody bags, parking and cafe facilities.

Experience a scenic thirty kilometer circular fell race through ancient woodland and Roman roads. This chipped and sign posted event is open to runners and walkers looking to explore the Midshires Way.

Take on the Trunce 8, a classic Peak District fell race starting and finishing at Oxspring Playing Field. The 6.2 km route climbs 190 m and entry is on the day for £3, with a junior 3 km race for over 10s at £1.

Take on the Fellrunner Golf Ball in Rossendale for a gritty 8.8 km fell race with 244 m of climbing across classic Bowland terrain. Teams are welcome and post race food and drink ensure a warm community finish.

Take on the classic Holcombe Two Towers fell race on Wednesday 26 August 2026 in the South West Pennines, a challenging 4 mile course with 400 m of climb through rugged moorland. Expect steep trails, great views and a lively community atmos..

A 130 mile continuous canal towpath race from Liverpool to Leeds on 29 August 2026. Open to runners aged 20 and over, it offers organiser support or self support, feed points every 10 to 15 miles and a 40 hour limit.

Experience a fast and flat run at Nottingham Racecourse and Colwick Country Park. Choose between several distances including a half marathon and 10k while enjoying scenic lakeside paths and an active event village.

Join this established 10k event in the heart of Worcestershire. Managed by an England Athletics affiliated club, this race offers a professional environment for runners in the Pershore area.

September 2026

A 10 km fell race around Eyam featuring climbs to Sir William Hill, moorland sections and wooded descents. A separate 3 km junior race for ages 11 to 16 runs on the day with on-the-day entry and marshalled route.
