Trail Running calendar near Sticklepath 2026-2027

A family friendly timed trail run on 14 November 2026 in Padstow along the Camel Trail in support of the National Lobster Hatchery. Distances range from 2.5 km to 10 miles with Canicross options.

Night trail running series across Somerset with four events offering 5 km and 10 km options and a bespoke wooden finisher’s medal available.

A 10 mile multi-terrain fell race around Castle Drogo with about 535 m of climb, cupless water stations at Fingle Bridge and National Trust car park parking.

A Movember charity run at Ashton Court Park offering 1.5k, 5k, 10k and half marathon options with chip timing, medals and headbands, mixed path and trail terrain, some hilly sections, and on course refreshments.

A six hour timed event at Dartington Hall with repeat 5 km laps and a canicross option. Mixed terrain, on-site catering and chip timing; proceeds support a new playground.

An evening trail at Dartington Hall with 10K and 5K single-lap courses, 1K and 2K kids races, and canicross. Green Table will host registration and refreshments while the event raises funds for a new childrens playground.

A coastal multi-lap event in Fowey based on an 8 km mixed trail and road lap, offering 8, 16, 24, 32 km options and a four-person relay, timed by ST App Service with finishers' medals and male and female awards.

The Smurf Run at Dare Valley Country Park is a seven hour Time Challenge on well maintained park paths, with distances from 3 km up to 50 km. Finishers receive themed medals, distance pins and a goody bag with vegan options.

Off road hill race around Brent Knoll in Somerset on 22 November 2026, about 6 miles with steep climbs, mud and panoramic views; finishers receive a unique medal.

A 13.6 km coastal cross country race around Ilfracombe with hilly terrain and a field limited to 200 runners, usually held in late November.

An 8 hour timed road event with 5.3 km laps on a former railway route, limited to 75 entrants and open to adults.

Trail event at Mothecombe on the Erme Estuary with an 8.5 mile classic and a half marathon, marked course, estuary crossings, mandatory head torch.

Two trail distances on 28 November 2026 around Machen, featuring wooded single track, ridgeway exposure and steep climbs. The half course is fully marked while the marathon requires self navigation with marshals at key points.

The final race of the 2026 RTT Series takes place in Afan Forest with separate 5 km and 10 km routes from Bryn Bettws Lodge. The event features chip timing, finisher medals, marked and marshalled routes and water stations.

A trail race through 600 acres of Charborough Estate woodland offering 10K, a 21K double loop and a two person relay in November 2026.

A lap based road event at Rhydycar, Merthyr Tydfil, on a 5.3 km AUKCM certified tarmac circuit along the Taff Trail. Runners choose how many laps to complete within a seven hour limit and can opt for a no medal entry.

An 11 mile point to point multi terrain trail from Lelant railway station to Marazion along the European cultural route with views of Trencrom and Ludgvan.

A Christmas themed Santa run at Siblyback Lake on 5 December 2026 with canicross options, three distances, medals for all and awards for top finishers. Timed results use the ST App Service and free race photography is provided.

Festive 10k trail at Cockington Country Park near Torquay on 6 December 2026 featuring hills, one water stop and a bespoke metal medal.

Winter trail races through Afan Forest and the Rhigos range finishing at Dare Valley Country Park. Options include a 34 mile ultra, a marathon and a linear half with marked routes, checkpoints and a compulsory kit list.
