Trail Running calendar near Seathwaite 2025-2026

Tackle the Chester Ultra 50 mile trail around Chester, linking the Sandstone Trail, Delamere Forest and Helsby Hill within a 17 hour cut off. The 2026 event is sold out and mandatory kit plus a GPS tracker are required.

The CBTE Morland 'Marathon' is a 29 mile trail ultra with about 3,000 ft of climbing through Eden Valley near Pennines and Howgills. Stone circles, waterfalls and village charm await; open to runners and walkers with full tracking.

Run a muddy, hilly 5k through Hamsterley Forest with natural obstacles and a fun, small field vibe. Open to runners and dogs, entries capped at 50 and finishers get medals and photos.
