Trail Running calendar near Rufford 2026-2027

A ladies only trail half marathon on the Lunar Trail route, raising funds for The Elm Foundation. The out and back course runs through Sutton Springs Wood and the Five Pits Trail with an aid station, marshals and medic cover.

A 9.6 km fell race near Accrington on 2 May 2027 with 338 m of climb. It is a Category BS event with UK Athletics insurance, open to entrants aged 18 and over with pre entry and on the day options.

A muddy 5k obstacle course at The Knavesmire in York featuring climbs, crawls and slides. Waves start every 15 minutes and participants must be 13 or older. On-site parking, refreshments and a minimum fundraising target are part of the even..

Trail races in Whinlatter Forest on 2 May 2027 offering a Half Marathon of 13.1 miles and a 10K of 6.2 miles across firm forest trails with panoramic Lake District views. Canicross friendly with live chip timing and on site parking.

A small FRA licensed fell race held each May over a hilly five mile route around Rainow and Kerridge Ridge. Entry is limited and proceeds are donated to local charities and rescue services.
