Fell race on 5 July 2026 around Skiddaw in the Lake District, based at Keswick Cricket Club. The course is 15.4 km with 960 m of ascent and entry on the day is accepted for a fee of £10.

A 5k muddy obstacle course at Bitts Park on 05 July 2026 that raises funds for Cancer Research UK. Participants climb, crawl and slide through a predominantly flat route; entrants must be 13 or older.

Participate in a 9 km fell race through the Durham countryside north of Stanhope. This event is part of the North East Fell Running Championships and features a 300 m climb for runners aged 18 and over.

Participate in a 1.28 mile run around the historic Elizabethan Walls of Berwick upon Tweed. Runners of all ages aim to complete the course before the Curfew Bell finishes tolling its thirteen minute sequence.

Join this Beacon Hill fell race on Thu 9 Jul 2026 at Lordenshaw car park, Rothbury. A testing 6.6 mile course with 410 m of climb, entry on the day and teams of three welcome for a spirited summer challenge.

A two day multi sport festival at Duncombe Park combining timed trail running segments and social camping. Entry includes camping, timing chip, food vendors and live music, with a 6 km night run and 10 km, 20 km or 30 km Saturday routes.

A trail ultra along Saint Cuthbert's Way with 100 km and 45 mile options; the 100 km includes a tidal cutoff. The route is way marked, has five timed checkpoints and live GPS tracking for all runners.

A point to point trail event on 11 July 2026 from near Osmotherley to Ravenscar covering just over 40 miles. The unmarked route is run on a handicap basis and requires mandatory navigation and safety kit.

Pretty Muddy 5k at Town Moor Newcastle is a muddy obstacle course raising funds for Cancer Research UK. Waves run every 15 minutes, participants must be 13 and up, and finishers receive a medal and support materials.

A 50K trail ultra from Whitby to Pickering that follows railway lines and passes eight stations, with 3322 ft of elevation. Mixed terrain, four marshaled checkpoints, walkers accepted within a 13 hour limit.

A 10 km race through the historic grounds of Floors Castle in Kelso on 12 July 2026. Mixed road and trail surfaces, a water station near 5 km, finishing refreshments, and medals and goodie bags for all finishers.

Choose from a 5k, 10k, or half marathon on a scenic route through Edinburgh's Holyrood Park. The course includes laps around landmarks like Arthur's Seat on mixed terrain. Dogs are welcome to run alongside participants.

Chapelfell Top is a licensed fell race in St John’s Chapel, Weardale covering 7 km with 400 m ascent to a 703 m summit. The out and back course runs over track and open fell and requires navigation skills and compulsory kit.

A scenic multi-terrain 15 km race in Moffat with a steep mid-race climb and a long downhill finish, open and local prize categories, junior races and a tots dash for under 5s.

Tackle a scenic fell race from Chop Gate in the North York Moors, covering 6.1 miles with 344 m of ascent across classic moorland. Entry on the day is welcome with low fees for members and non members, and teams are catered for.

A club relay event on Thursday 16 July at Derwenthaugh Country Park. Teams of three require at least one male and one female, entry fee £18 per team and limited parking at the race HQ.

An uphill only 6 km race with 850 m of ascent on 17 July 2026 in Patterdale, climbing Helvellyn via Swirral Edge. The course is fully marked, includes a manned checkpoint and a recycled paper mache medal.

Experience an extreme skyrunning challenge in the Lake District featuring 2700m of ascent and five graded scrambles. This technical race over the Helvellyn Massif requires proven climbing skills and a steady hand on the rock.

A 57 km mountain race from Patterdale with 3700 m of ascent across Striding Edge, Swirral Edge and Long Stile Edge. Open to runners aged 19 or older, the course is course marked and is not a vetted ultra route.

A classic distance Sky Race of 29 km and 2050 m ascent around St Sunday Crag in the Lake District on 18 July 2026, featuring technical trails, electronic timing, manned checkpoints and post race soup.
