Eyemouth Twilight 5K & Fun Runs

The Eyemouth Twilight 5K Jog/Run and Scott's Mini Fun Runs take place on 28 August 2026 in the coastal village of Eyemouth. The event is organised by Eyemouth Development Trust (SCIO SC045880). Registration is managed outside Giacopazzi's Gelato on Harbour Road and race numbers and chip timers are issued at registration.

The 5k route is certified by Scottish Athletics and the 5k uses chip timing that records each runner's time when they cross the timing mats. All participants in the 5k and the Mini Fun Runs receive a goodie bag and an ice cream provided by Giacopazzi's Gelato. Medals are presented to all finishers as they cross the line.

• Mini Fun Run 3-5 years : 100 m
• Mini Fun Run 6-8 years : 400 m
• Mini Fun Run 9 to under 12s : 800 m

The course starts and finishes at Giacopazzi's Gelato, follows Harbour Road and Victoria Road, passes the High School and uses a new road around the golf course with a roughly 600 m out and back section. Crossing junctions at The Avenue, Stebbings Rise and the car park on the new road will be marshalled. Runners should take care at the red bridge and on the middle pier as this is a working harbour.

The route uses some public roads and footpaths, will be signposted and will have voluntary marshals. Competitors must provide emergency contact details on the back of their race numbers and the use of headphones is prohibited. There are no changing facilities; public toilets are at the Co op car park. Parking is limited at Harbour Road car park with additional spaces at Eyemouth Co op, beside Eyemouth Leisure Centre and on Victoria Road. Event results will be posted on the event Facebook page.
