Eyemouth Twilight 5K & Fun Runs

The Eyemouth Twilight event takes place on 28 August 2026 in the coastal village of Eyemouth. It comprises a certified 5k route verified by Scottish Athletics and a series of Scott’s Mini Fun Runs for younger participants. The 5k uses chip timing; chips are issued before the race and must be returned after finishing. All finishers receive a medal, and participants in both the 5k and the fun runs receive a goodie bag and an ice cream supplied by Giacopazzi's Gelato. An official finish line will be in place and event results will be posted on the Eyemouth Twilight 5k Facebook page.

The route starts at Giacopazzi's Gelato on Harbour Road, follows Harbour Road and Victoria Road, passes the High School and new road around the golf course, includes a section by the harbour and a red bridge onto the middle pier, and returns to finish at Giacopazzi's. Crossing junctions at The Avenue, Stebbings Rise and the car park on the new road will be marshalled. The course uses public roads and footpaths; competitors must follow marshal instructions, provide emergency contact details on the back of race numbers and must not use headphones. There are no changing facilities; public toilets are available at the Co-op car park. The event is organised by Eyemouth Development Trust (SCIO).
