Event overview

The Eyemouth Twilight 5K and Scott's Mini Fun Runs take place in Eyemouth on 28 August 2026. The event is organised by Eyemouth Development Trust (SCIO). The 5k route is certified by Scottish Athletics and uses chip timing so each participant's time is recorded individually. All participants receive a goodie bag and an ice cream sponsored by Giacopazzi's Gelato. Medals are presented to all finishers.

The course starts and finishes beside Giacopazzi's Gelato on Harbour Road and follows Harbour Road, Victoria Road, the pavement by the car park, the new road around the golf course and parts of the harbour pier. Harbour Road will be closed to traffic for the mini fun runs. Registration is at Giacopazzi's on Harbour Road where race numbers and chip timers are issued; chip timers must be returned after the race. The route runs on public roads and footpaths with marshals at junctions. Competitors must follow marshal instructions and provide emergency contact details on race numbers. The use of headphones is prohibited. Parking is limited at the Harbour Road car park; additional parking is available at Eyemouth Co-op, next to the Leisure Centre and on Victoria Road.
