Inflatable Insanity at Floors Castle

Inflatable Insanity at Floors Castle is an outdoor inflatable obstacle event held at Floors Castle, Kelso, Scottish Borders on 29 and 30 August 2026. The course uses giant inflatables arranged into laps and is hosted across two event days. Car access is via postcode TD5 7NX and pedestrian access via TD5 7RL.

There are two distance options:

  • 2.5K course - 1 lap, 15 giant inflatable obstacles
  • 5K course - 2 laps, 30 giant inflatable obstacles

Entries can be made solo or as teams of two people or more. A team discount of 20% applies for teams of 10 or more. Morning and afternoon wave options are available on both days.

The event is open to participants aged 5 years and over. Children aged 5 to 15 must be accompanied by participating adults according to the following supervision ratios: age 5 = 1 adult per 1 child; age 6 = 1 adult per 2 children; age 7 = 1 adult per 3 children; ages 8–9 = 1 adult per 4 children; ages 10–15 = 1 adult per 5 children. Spectators are admitted free of charge.

Ticketing terms state that entries are non-refundable. Entries may be exchanged for a credit for a fee of £3 until 23 August 2026, and credits remain valid for 12 months from the event date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Trail runs nearby

A seven mile trail through Ingram Valley that visits ancient hillforts and offers views of the Cheviot Hills. The course is fully marked and registration and race numbers are handled at Ingram Village Hall; dogs are not permitted.

A country show hill race in Powburn on 1 August 2026 with a fully marked 6 mile route over East Hill and a 2 mile junior race.

Coastal marathon and half marathon between Holy Island and Spittal with chip timing, aid stations, finish medals, capped fields, and age categories.

Forestburn is a short fell race near Rothbury on 9 August 2026. The course is about 5.6 km with 150 m of climb and is held at the Gate Pub as part of the Simonside Country Fair.
