Event Overview
The Sundowner 5K Series 2026 is a summer evening running series in Edinburgh, Scotland. It takes place across three city parks: Inverleith Park, Leith Links and Fettes. All events are 5 km runs on inner trail paths in park settings.
The series runs between 3 June 2026 and 26 August 2026. The event location hub is Blast Running, 7 Arboretum Place, Edinburgh, EH3 5NY, United Kingdom. Participants can enter a single race or the full three-race series. Registration is online, with a limited number of on-the-day entries, subject to availability.
Dates and Format
The planned race dates and venues are:
- Wednesday 3 June - Inverleith Park
- Wednesday 1 July - Leith Links
- Wednesday 26 August - Fettes
Registration opens from 5.30 pm on race days.
Each event is chip timed and includes a warm up led by Westwoods Health Club. Courses are clearly marked, with marshals positioned around the routes. There are race photos available after the events.
Entry, Prices and Prizes
Entry costs £12 per race or £30 for all three. Each event is limited to a maximum of 250 entries. An optional finisher medal is available for £5 extra.
Prizes are offered for the fastest male and fastest female at each event, as well as spot prizes. There is also a special prize for the most improved runner across all three events.
