Trail Running calendar near Mothecombe 2026-2027

A multi-distance trail running weekend in East Devon with on-site camping, GPS-tracked courses, UTMB Index status and supported aid stations across routes from about 25 km to 110 km.

Trail races from Caffyns Farm, Lynton, through Exmoor National Park with five routes from 5 km to a 56 km ultra. Expect coastal paths, moorland and technical terrain with substantial elevation.

A 5k obstacle event at Stithians Showground where participants climb, crawl and slide over gravel and grass terrain. Participants must be 13 or older and there is a minimum fundraising target of £50.

Point to point 50 mile ultra on Saturday 8 May 2027 with flat canal and coastal sections, six aid stations, a 14 hour cut-off and a Minehead finish.

A 100 miles Somerset route combining canal, coast and upland trails with 13 aid stations, tracking, a 32 hour cut off and on-course medical cover.

Trail races at Martinhoe on Exmoor offer 10K, half, marathon and ultra routes across moorland, woods, cliffs and coastal terrain.

Seven hour flexible-start running event on 8 May 2027 near Littleham, Exmouth with 5.3 km laps on a measured tarmac rail trail; max 50 entrants, age 18 plus.

An eight mile coastal trail in Torbay on 14 June 2026 featuring a Pirate King hunt, one aid station visited twice, a three hour cut off, and a finisher medal.

Trail races at Roadford Lake in Devon include a half marathon, 10K, 5K, canicross options and kids races, with chip timing, medals and finish line refreshments. Parking is charged at £5 per car.

A 13.1 mile waymarked trail run across Cornwall on 22 May 2027 from Portreath to Devoran Quay. Canicross is welcome, there is a midway checkpoint, timing via ST App Service, and an optional minibus return to Portreath.

Trail races at Mothecombe, South Devon on 22 May 2027 with 29 mi, 15 mi and 8.5 mi routes, estuary crossings, digital timing and finisher medals.

A 44-mile coastal ultra from Lizard Point to Land's End along the South West Coast Path with solo and relay team options and rugged, exposed trail terrain.

Rame Head Race offers 10K, half marathon, marathon and canicross on a scenic coastal loop around Mount Edgcumbe Peninsula. Two laps equal a half marathon and four laps a marathon with on site camping and a short ferry connection available.

Multi-terrain running from Budleigh Salterton along the Exe Estuary with 50k, marathon and half marathon routes and finishers' metal medals.

Evening 10 km riverside run in Exeter on 25 June 2027 with a non competitive Grecian Mile for under 16s and fundraising incentives.
