Run the Bronte Way fell race through the South/West Pennines, a scenic 12 km point to point with 351 m of climb. Pre entry only with limited bus support and a warming soup and roll at the finish make this a classic autumn challenge.

Race You To The Summit is a lively fell race from the Summit Inn to Blackstone Edge and back, 4.3 miles with about 260 m of climb. Held on Halloween, it welcomes teams and juniors and offers prizes for fancy dress.

Tackle the Monsal Mash in the Peak District, a challenging 9.5 km fell race with 500 m of climb over technical and fast rough terrain. Advance entry and full kit required, teams of three welcome.

Trail events in Glenridding around Helvellyn with 5k, 10k and 15k options on marked and marshalled off road courses. Limited earlybird places, shuttle buses and on site event facilities are provided.

A six hour lapped trail at Linacre Reservoirs on 31 October 2026 where runners complete as many marked laps as possible on well maintained trails. Checkpoints supply food and drinks and every finisher receives a medal.

A 31 mile trail through Amber Valley with a 20 mile northern loop option, both based at Ashover Village Hall. Routes are largely unmarked but GPX files, checkpoints and medic cover are provided; Amberaid has a 9 hour time limit.

November 2026

Enjoy a 5 mile trail through scenic Sankey Valley Park in St Helens on Sunday 1 November 2026, with compact but sometimes muddy terrain and marshals on course. Runners must be 15 or older and all finishers get a goody bag memento.

Scenic trail running on Ullswater's eastern shore with 10k and 14k options, boat transfer to the start when possible, compulsory kit checks and well marked, marshalled courses.

Run the November Nightmare in Telford from 1 to 8 November 2026 a unique eight day challenge where you can enter any single day or tackle them all. Daily courses of 8, 16 or 26.2 miles pass through Ironbridge and earn a medal each day.

A nighttime trail run through woods at Swinsty & Fewston Reservoir Car Park with looped courses of 3.3 miles and 6.7 miles. Undulating good trails, marshalled and signed routes, feed stations and a bespoke finisher medal.

Enjoy scenic reservoir running at Swinsty and Fewston Lakeside Dash, fully marshalled on undulating woodland paths around a 6.7 mile loop. Distances from 10k to marathon suit all abilities, with bespoke medals and post race treats.

Challenge yourself on the Shepherds Skyline Fell Race in Todmorden, a rugged 10 km with around 350 m of climb featuring a steep descent off Stoodley Pike and a tough return climb. On the day entries only and mandatory fell kit is required.

Take on the Burley Moor Run in Burley in Wharfedale, a scenic 11 km (6.8 miles) test across moorland with 250 m of climb. Open to runners aged 16 plus, with entries available in advance or on the day.

Tackle a scenic but testing fell race in Dunnerdale, Lake District: 8 km with a 550 m climb over rugged hills. Pre entry only, join solo or as a three person team for a classic Broughton Mills Village Hall start.

A dog friendly trail event at Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs offering 3.3 mile and 6.7 mile loop options on undulating, mainly off road trails with marshals, drink stations and a bespoke finisher medal.

Take on Soyland Moor, an autumn fell race from Cragg Vale across moorland and Pennine Way on a point to point 22 km course with around 1300 ft of ascent and self navigation required. Teams welcome, entrants must be 18 or over.

A trail running event on the Bolton Abbey Estate offering a 2.4 mile family run, 10K, 10 mile and half marathon, with free parking and fundraising for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice. Finishers receive a medal made from estate wood.
