August 2026

She Strides Women only 50K is a women only ultramarathon in West Yorkshire with a circular marked 50 km route and about 1400 m of ascent. Four vegan friendly checkpoints and a ten hour cutoff at checkpoint 4 support participants.

A trail run and challenge walk in Hartington, Peak District, with two routes of about 26 miles and 15 miles. Routes use GPX and written guides, have checkpoints with aid stations, and require mandatory navigation and safety kit.

A 24 mile walk or run around Calderdale with a route through woods, fields and a short stretch beside the River Calder and canal. Refreshments are provided and all finishers receive a certificate and a memento.

A trail backyard ultra at Hollinwood Scout Camp with hourly off road loops through fields and woodland, capped at 100 athletes. Prize money for the winner and extra reward for those who exceed 100 mile add to the endurance focus.

A fell race held within the Osmotherley Show in North Yorkshire on 1 August 2026, covering 8.8 km with 320 m of climb. Entry is open to runners aged 16 and over with day registration and show admission required.

A 10 km trail race through Gisburn Forest near Slaidburn Lancashire on Saturday 1 August 2026. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and includes chip timing, a race medal, professional photography and on site refreshments.
