Trail Running calendar near Kirkby Malzeard 2026-2027

Trail races in Staveley, Cumbria across 5K, 10K and a half marathon feature marked, marshalled routes with varied terrain and panoramic fell views. A festival style event provides live music, food stalls, merchandise and on site photography..

A 14 km fell race in Coniston on 1 May 2027 with 1065 m of ascent, pre entry only via SI Entries and fees for members and non members; parking is at Coniston CE Primary School only.

A 9.6 km fell race near Accrington on 2 May 2027 with 338 m of climb. It is a Category BS event with UK Athletics insurance, open to entrants aged 18 and over with pre entry and on the day options.

A Peak District fell race from Rainow Institute covering 8 km (5 miles) with 230 m of climb. Pre-entry is required and opens 1 March 2027; fees are £9 for members and £10 for non-members.

A fully way marked 47 mile trail around Lake Windermere with GPS tracking, five aid stations and a 24 hour limit. Open to runners and walkers, the low level route is presented as an entry level Lakes ultra.

A measured, chip-timed 5k through Middlewich canals and trails with a family fun run on the cricket pitch; medals, goody bags and age-group prizes for finishers.

A hilly six mile fell race on Friday 18 June 2027 starting in Stalybridge and running up to the Trigg point on Hobson Moor. It is the second event in The Tour and lists single event and Tour entry options.

A supported 100 mile ultramarathon in the United Kingdom, Cheshire Ring Ultra 100 Mile is scheduled for 25 and 26 September 2027 and is part of the Ultra Great Britain Race Series with live GPS tracking.

An 11 km fell race on Burley Moor with 250 m of climb in Burley-in-Wharfedale on 6 November 2027. Open to adults 18 and over with pre-entry and on-the-day entry; team and junior entries are not included.

An overnight Pendle Way trail event from Barley, Lancashire offering a 45 mile loop or a 30 mile option, with required navigation and mandatory kit; minimum age 18 and entries open through June 2028.
