Tackle the South Pennine moors in the Flower Scar Fell Race on 21 February 2026, starting from Todmorden Cricket Club. The 13.3 km route with about 660 m of climb offers classic fell terrain, great views and a lively race village finish.

Winter trail runs at Derwent Reservoir offer 5 mile and 10 mile routes over mixed terrain, with live chip timing and finisher medals. The 5 mile allows one controlled dog per runner, the 10 mile has a 2.5 hour cut off.

A winter league fell race at Birkrigg Common in Ulverston featuring a 5 km course with 170 m climb. The route is fully flagged and covered by an FRA permit; entries are available in advance or on the day and specific kit is required.

Take on Mr Sparkle's Dark Un, an 8.1 km night fell race across moorland with stiff climbs, mud and a final descent on 27 Feb 2026. A headtorch and full body cover are required and places are limited, pre entry only.

A 24 mile winter route from Dovestone Sailing Club through the Dark Peak and South Pennine Moors with 3900 ft of ascent and varied terrain. The event is fully supported with four checkpoints and is currently full with waiting list closed.
