Urban Trail Series : Trail Outlaws

The Urban Trail Series, organised by Trail Outlaws, is a set of off-road races held on local trails with events around Biddick Academy (NE38 8AL) and other nearby venues. Races are fully marked and marshalled. Distances offered across the series range from short trail runs up to a half marathon.

Participants can enter individual races or enter the full series. Series entry includes a discounted price and a free presentation evening later in the year. Prizes are awarded to the winners of each race. Entry fees listed for events in the series range from £20.00 to £32.00.

The series schedule includes multiple dates; the next listed race is 16 August 2026. Facilities at some race venues have included parking and toilets, and organisers provide route signage and marshal support on course.

Course terrain varies by event but the series uses local trails and woodland routes. Races are described in participant feedback as scenic and hilly, with marshals and volunteers positioned to guide runners and support logistics. Organisers publish further event information and specific race details, such as exact distances and individual event locations, for each race in the series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
