A trail ultra from Hawes across the Yorkshire Three Peaks with a main route of 70 km and 2185 m ascent and an optional 30 km extension to 100 km. Support, food stops, GPX files and indoor resting are provided; entries limited to 100.

A 50 km trail ultra around Pen-y-Ghent with 1280 m ascent, supported water and food stops, navigation notes and GPX provided, and compulsory mountain safety kit required.

Heights Ultra Trail is a community charity festival in Huddersfield on 19 September 2026 offering 50 mile, 50 km, 27 km and 10 km races across Yorkshire moorland and reservoirs. Routes are waymarked and checkpoints provide food and drinks.

A flat, chip timed canal race in Rodley, Leeds with distances from 5K to Ultra Marathon. Routes follow the Leeds and Liverpool Canal with marshals, feed stations every three miles and bespoke medals for finishers.

A 50K ultra in the Cheviot Hills around Wooler with GPS navigation, two aid stations, marshals and medical cover. The route passes Hen Hole, Yeavering Bell and has checkpoints at Hethpool and Langleeford.

A 63 miles coastal trail race along the Cleveland Way from Guisborough to Filey, with 18 hours to complete, mandatory kit checks, supplied trackers and manned checkpoints offering water and food at selected points.

A Backyard Ultra at West Shields Farm where runners complete a 4.1 mile loop on the hour until one remains. The route mixes farmland, single track and woodland with food stations, tracking and on-site medical cover.

Trail running event in the Lake District from Grasmere with five routes from 9 km to 52 km, technical climbs, outposts on longer routes and specified mandatory kit.

Classic fell race in Kettlewell, Yorkshire Dales: 4 mile route with 475 m climb over rugged upland terrain. Open to 16+ with pre entry or entry on the day, teams welcome and free parking for entrants.

A 15.6 km trail with 870 m ascent around Thornthwaite near Keswick, visiting five checkpoints across forest and open fell. The event raises funds for the restoration of Thornthwaite Church.

A half marathon on Saturday 19 September 2026 at Lakeland Maze Farm Park near Kendal, running over farm trails and through the maze. Entry includes maze access, chip timing, medals, three water stations and parking.

A 11.7 km Category BM fell race at Thropton Showfield in Coquetdale, held during the Thropton country show. Entry on the day only with modest fees, teams of three allowed, and proceeds support Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue.

Trail runs at Raby Castle offer 5 km, 10 km and half marathon routes through parkland with woodland and lakes, live chip timing, on-site parking and finisher medals.

A trail half marathon and a 10k in Bronte Country on 20 September 2026, with a hilly single lap course, limited entry, and finish-line pie and peas plus a race memento.

A weekend running event in Knaresborough on 20 September 2026 offering 10K and Half Marathon routes through scenic Yorkshire countryside. Finishers receive a jumble medal and hot food, with entry available online or on the day.

Tackle the Fryup Frazzler in the North York Moors, a scenic 5.8 mile fell run from the Cycle Hub cafe with roughly 475 m of climb. Part of the Esk Valley summer fell series, it mixes tough slopes with rewarding views.

A trail running event in Hamsterley Forest offering 10K and Half Marathon on undulating, well marked forest trails. Entries include a themed medal, race photos, chip timed results and a serviced event village with food and drink.

Two charity trail runs near Locomotion in Eaglescliffe offer 10 mile and 5 mile routes partly along the original railway line. Proceeds support the Great North Air Ambulance and MND and all finishers receive medals.

A charitable run and walk on 20 September 2026 in the Ingram Valley, roughly 9 km on mixed road and trail. Entry is available for both run and walk options with a £10 fee and a minimum age of 16.

A multi-distance trail event in the Lake District National Park, 25 to 27 September 2026, linking the region's 13 valleys with races from 22.4 km to 184.3 km, ITRA points and Western States qualifiers, plus children's Future Valleys races.
