Lakeland Maze Farm Park Half Marathon

The event is a half marathon staged at Lakeland Maze Farm Park, Raines Hall, Sedgwick, Kendal LA8 0JH. The route is fully marked and chip timed. Water stations are provided at approximately every 3 miles and free photography is offered for participants. The finish takes place at the maze and entry to the maze after the run is included with the standard entry fee.

On-site facilities include ample parking, toilets, a cafe, family entertainment and post-race refreshments. Bag drop is available near the starting area. Medical provision includes first aid stations and roaming medics along the route and at the finish, and full medical support is confirmed for the event.

Registration requires entrants to be 18 years or older on the day of the event. The standard registration fee is £35.00 per person and includes maze access after the run. Family entertainment packages are listed at £56.00 for entry plus an extra adult and one child, and £66.00 for entry plus an extra adult and two children.

Full event information, including a route map, is sent to registered competitors seven to ten days before the event. A midweek fell race in Wray on 28 April 2026 covering 11 km with 335 m climb. Entry is on the day only with a £5 fee and teams of three are permitted.

Tackle the Lords Seat Fell race at Whinlatter Visitor Centre, an 8 km route with 430 m of climb across scenic, rugged fells. Entry on the day only £7 cash, with junior races and a start from the visitor centre car park.

Uphill trial races from Fitz Park to Skiddaw with marked courses for Senior and U20 athletes, mandatory mountain safety kit and pre entry only registration.

A 14 kilometre fell race with 1,065 metres of ascent visiting Wetherlam, Swirl How and the Old Man of Coniston. Navigation is by map and compass only and entrants must have fell running experience.
