13 Valleys Ultra is a Lake District National Park trail challenge offering four distances: 2 Valleys Trail 22.4 km, 5 Valleys Ultra 58.4 km, 7 Valleys Ultra 110.3 km, and 13 Valleys Ultra 184.3 km. The route uses fully way-marked paths with regular check-points and feed stations, weaving through Borrowdale, Bassenthwaite, Thirlmere, Ullswater, Haweswater, Windermere, and surrounding valleys. The atmosphere highlights spectacular mountain and lake scenery and demanding terrain. Start/finish locations vary: 2 Valleys and 13 Valleys in Keswick; 5 Valleys and 7 Valleys start at Waterhead and finish in Keswick. Five percent of fees go to the Lake District Foundation; the event is ITRA-rated with Western States qualifiers for 7 and 13 Valleys.
