Trail Running calendar near Dummer 2026-2027

The FOOBS Trail and Fun Runs return in October. Choose from a chip timed 10K, 6K, or a family friendly 2K fun run through the countryside near Old Basing. The event supports local schools through community fundraising.

MacTuffX Swindon features a series of repetition based running formats including solo and team categories. Participants choose between multiple 400m or 800m loops in this structured athletic event for adults.

Roughly 12K trail run on bridle paths and the Imber Range near the Westbury White Horse on 18 October 2026. Limited to 200 places so book early for a bespoke finisher medal and category prizes.

Keynsham Dandy is an off road 12.5 mile race in October organised by Town and Country Harriers with race HQ at The New Inn in Keynsham. The route includes the revived Compton Dando section which crosses a stream.

Trail races through Bedgebury National Pinetum offering Half Marathon, 10k and a junior race with route maps, GPX files, a bespoke medal and free photographs.

Cross-country race in Hardwick, Buckinghamshire on 18 October 2026, run over about 6 miles of off road terrain with water crossings and varied surfaces. Entries are limited to 300 and participants must be at least 17 years old.

A 10K trail run through the private grounds of Hole Park in Cranbrook, Kent on 18 October 2026, featuring parkland and woodland sections, timed results, official photography and bespoke finisher medals.

Seven consecutive offroad race days at Pengethley Manor from 19 to 25 October 2026 with a seven hour time limit each day and distances from 5k to ultra. Each day awards a unique Halloween themed medal and a virtual option is available.

Part of a Halloween race series at Pengethley Manor, The Scary Scamper offers 5k, 10k, half, marathon and ultra options on a tough off road loop with a seven hour time limit and a virtual option worldwide.

Beachy Head Marathon Weekend is a multi-distance trail event at Bede's Prep School on 24 October 2026. Races include Ultra, Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k; runners note scenic, hilly routes and strong volunteer support.

A 47 mile point to point ultra along the Thames Path from Iffley to Henley on Thames, with mixed trail and road terrain, five aid stations, mandatory kit requirements and real time GPS tracking. The event has an 11.5 hour cut off.

IOW Backyard Ultra is planned for 24 October 2026 at Robin Hill on the Isle of Wight. Organised by Wild Isle Events, it is presented as the island's first official Backyard Ultra and shows a free registration of interest option.

A 30 mile out and back along the River Stort and Lee Navigation on mostly flat grassy and gravel trails, with checkpoints every five miles, electronic timing and a finisher medal; trophies for the top three men and women.

Wight Lines is a mixed terrain coastal run at Milford on Sea with views of the Isle of Wight. Runners choose distances from 5K to ultra marathon and complete 5.3 km laps, with on course aid and a finishers medal for one lap or more.

Experience a timed anti clockwise loop around Canvey Island featuring sea wall paths and coastal trails. This self supported adventure includes a unique pub check point and follows the scenic King Charles III England Coast Path.
