The Christmas Charity Run at Rathfinny

The event is held at Rathfinny Wine Estate, with a route that runs through the vineyard and offers views of the South Downs National Park. The course is two 5 km loops run around vines and mainly follows grass, chalky and flint trails with undulating hilly cambers in places.

The event is cupless for sustainability; participants must bring their own water vessels. Water will be available only at the start and finish area. Portable toilets will be located near The Hut by the car park. There are parking spaces for runners near the Cellar Door and Tasting Room with a donation charge of £5 for single use parking; parking is free for vehicles carrying two or more runners according to the event car sharing criteria.

Entry is limited to 75 spaces and the event is restricted to local runners to reduce travel and ecological impact. The stated registration fee is £12.50, of which £8 will be donated to the WOLO Foundation. Medical cover will be provided by MedExPlus, who have donated their fee to WOLO.

Race administration notes include bibs issued before the race and the requirement to wear the race number on the front of the shirt. A bag drop is available at the start at the owner’s risk and must be clearly labelled. Competitors are asked not to drop litter; bins will be provided.
