Mince Pi Run

The event is scheduled for 13 December 2026 at Shalford Park, Guildford (GU4 8AA). Entry is open with a total of 200 places. The event offers a range of distances and a 1 mile fun run for younger children shaped like the Pi symbol. Bespoke Pi Pie medals are awarded to all competitors.

Course, rules and logistics

The course is mostly flat and offroad, running along the water's edge with one or two hills and a few eroded path sections where extra care is advised. Alternative courses may be used if conditions dictate a change. Race numbers are collected on race morning and must be worn on the front for lap and time recording. Results will be published online as soon as possible after the event; organisers aim to have results within 24 hours.

Junior participation on the 3.14 mile loop: ages 8-11 may run 1 lap, ages 12-14 may run 2 laps, age 15 may run 4 laps. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times; 12-15 year olds must have an adult at the start/finish or may be accompanied. Various car parks are within walking distance; Millbrook car park (GU1 3XL) is about half a mile from race HQ. Entry fees are listed as £20.36 (until 31 Mar 2026) and £23.50 (until 10 Dec 2026).
