Christmas Day Cracker Run 2026
The event is the sixth edition of the Christmas Day Cracker Run, organised by Saturn Running at The Last Hop in Staines upon Thames. It is a licensed Trail Running Association event held under UK Athletics rules.
This is a 7 hour Time Challenge that gives each participant control over how far they run. The minimum recorded distance is 3 km. A full lap is listed as 4.37 miles or 7 km and may be changed to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions. There are turn points within the lap at 3 km and 5 km to help younger runners meet distance rules.

The course runs along a stretch of the River Thames and is fully signed. Participants who complete at least 3 km are official finishers and receive a Christmas themed medal. Distance pins are provided for half marathon distance and above completed within the 7 hour time limit. Finishers receive a goody bag with a vegan option available on request.
The Last Hop offers a separate Christmas Dinner at a stated price per head; dinner options and any refunds for a cancelled dinner are handled by The Last Hop. Members receive a reduced entry price and a guaranteed place plus a mini medal pin. Club members affiliated to UK Athletics receive a small entry discount.
Toilets are available at the venue but there are no dedicated changing rooms or showers. Parking is available at Bridge Street Car Park TW18 4TP. A non-secure bag area will be provided at the start and finish. Headphones are allowed and runners are asked to be considerate of other footpath users.
