Trail Running calendar near Corfe Castle 2026-2027

Black To The Trails 2026 brings family friendly and longer trail runs to Blaise Castle in Bristol on 11 October 2026, with 1K, 5K and 10K options and free entry for under 16s.

Trail event at Burnbake Forest Lodges near Corfe Castle on 17 October 2026. Three marked routes of 24 km, 12 km and 6 km run on technical coastal and marshland trails with steep climbs, and outposts require a reusable cup.

A 100 mile continuous trail race based in Goring and Streatley that uses sections of the Ridgeway and Thames Path. The course consists of four 25 mile out and back spurs and features 16 aid stations and on-course medical support.

Roughly 12K trail run on bridle paths and the Imber Range near the Westbury White Horse on 18 October 2026. Limited to 200 places so book early for a bespoke finisher medal and category prizes.

A multi terrain trail event in Stockland, East Devon on 18 October 2026 offering 10 km, 5 km and 3 km routes across fields, lanes and river crossings, with village hall HQ and on site refreshments.

Keynsham Dandy is an off road 12.5 mile race in October organised by Town and Country Harriers with race HQ at The New Inn in Keynsham. The route includes the revived Compton Dando section which crosses a stream.

The Blackdown Hill Challenge on 18 October 2026 is a trail running event from Fernhurst Recreation Ground to the Temple of the Winds, featuring a 866 ft climb and wide views. A shorter adult trail of about 4.5 km is also offered.

Wight Lines is a mixed-terrain coastal run at Milford on Sea with views of the Isle of Wight and Sturt Pond Nature Reserve. Runners choose distances from 5K to ultra, complete 5.3 km laps, and receive a medal for one lap or more.

Mendip Muddle is a 20 km multi terrain fell race in Somerset with about 420 m of climbing. Headquarters are at Charter House Outdoor Activity Centre; on course water and first aid are provided and prizes are awarded by category.

Routes along the Grand Western Canal in Tiverton include Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k options on hard packed gravel towpaths. The event is cupless so runners must carry their own water and finishers receive a bespoke medal.

Day one of a two day mountain marathon at Westermill Farm, Exford, featuring a 40 km course with 1800 m of climb. Teams of two must pre-enter and the entry fee covers both race days and campsite.

A Halloween-themed evening event at Haldon Forest Park on 30 October 2026 offering 2.5 km, 5 km and 10 km options, including Canicross and a fun run. Organised by Purple Gecko Events with timing via ST App Service and no chip timing.

A night trail event in Alice Holt Forest on 31 October 2026 using 5 km laps; choose one, two or three laps. Forest tracks, one outpost per lap, reusable cup policy and headphones are not permitted.

An evening Halloween run at Hogmoor with kids races, 6.6K and 10K laps plus a 6.6K canicross. The course has sandy hills, mud and shallow water and races run after dark so a torch is advised.

The Phoenix Running - Hampshire will take place in Hampshire on Saturday 31 October 2026. You can run between 3 and 42 kilometers.

A chip timed beach run on West Wittering Beach with sea and downs views. Distances of 15.3 km, 10 km and 5 km, on-course water stations, finisher medal and dog friendly options.

An off road ultramarathon from Maiden Newton of about 35.9 miles with roughly 1,300 m of ascent, passing hillforts and coastal views. Six aid stations offer water and cake, GPX files and maps are provided for navigation.

A 10 mile off-road trail run in Stonehouse on 1 November 2026, starting with an uphill mile on Horsemarling Lane and continuing over undulating, muddy trails. Canicross runners are welcome and a 2 hour 30 minute cutoff applies.
