Trail Running calendar near Brewood 2026-2027

A tenth-anniversary five-mile chip-timed cross country and Canicross event in the Upper Wreake valley with varied countryside terrain and commemorative medals for finishers.

MacTuffX Brierley Hill on 4 October 2026 is a functional fitness race in Brierley Hill West Midlands featuring ten Xercises plus running across individual team and relay categories with a LITE weight option for lower loads.

Castle Carr is a 24 km fell race in the South/West Pennines near Hebden Bridge on 4 October 2026, with about 1200 m of ascent and official FRA permit and insurance.

An off-road runners and walkers event on an approximately 10 mile Charnwood countryside route with water stops, refreshments and separate junior options on 4 October 2026.

A six hour multi-lap off road event at Sence Valley Forest Park where participants complete 3.3 mile laps at their own pace, with canicross allowed and options for a medal or tree token.

A trail event at Cuerden Valley Park on Friday 9 October 2026 where runners complete repeated 5k laps within a six hour limit. Finishers receive an official time and a bespoke medal.

A backyard ultra at Turvey House where runners complete a 4.167 mile (6.7 km) loop each hour; failing to start a loop on the hour means elimination. Entries include solo, paired teams alternating loops, and an 8 hour day cap.

An inflatable obstacle course event in Cheltenham on 10 October 2026 offering 2.5k to 15k distances, on course music, a finisher's medal and family friendly entry rules.

A 32 mile trail through the Cambrian Mountains from Camp Plas near Dolanog, capped at 100 runners and fully marked with checkpoints and a 14 hour cut off. The weekend includes on-site camping, catering, live music and lakeside activities.

A 55 km circular trail ultra across the Forest of Dean that follows a GPX navigation route through single track, riverside sections and ridges. Canicross has its own category and aid stations provide water, food and toilets.

A countryside trail race in Tideswell on Saturday 10th October covering about 8.9 km with 267 m of climb, passing Peters Stone and the summit of Hay Cop before returning to finish at Bishop Pursglove Primary School.

Second edition trail half marathon from Drone Valley Brewery in Derbyshire, with varied terrain, about 1,700 feet ascent, a finisher medal and a free pint voucher.
