Two trail races at Honister Slate Mine on 27 June 2026 combine fell climbs with a 700 m underground tunnel section. Routes are flagged and marshaled, helmets and headtorches are required, and the event is open to those aged 16 and over.

A category 'AM' fell race near Mungrisdale covering 13K with 825m of ascent, serving as a counter in the 2026 English Fell Running Championships. The classic route is enforced and competitors need solid navigation and mountain-craft skills.

Total Warrior 2026 Saturday 6 km at Bramham Ln Wetherby on 27 June 2026 features 15 obstacles and mud on a not timed course. Entry includes a finisher T shirt and a Victory Beer.

A club-organised 7 mile trail race around Trawden, passing the foothills of Boulsworth and through Wycollar. The course is about 11.3 km with 450 ft of ascent and is held at Trawden Recreation Ground under UK Athletics rules; entry £10.

A short fell race in the Lake District held as part of the Ullswater Country Fair on 28 June 2026. The 2.4 km course rises about 300 m, has a minimum age of 16 and accepts entry on the day for £5.

A 10 km trail race through Stalybridge Country Park and local moorland. Finishers receive a local chip muffin voucher for completing this event organized by Crazy Legs Events.

July 2026

Gategill Fell Race on Wed 1 Jul 2026 in the Lake District is a short steep 3.6 km climb that tests hill running and grit. On the day entries only, wear grippy shoes and enjoy refreshments as proceeds support the local community.

Cragg Vale on 1 July 2026 is a 4 miles (6.4 km) fell race with 244 m of climb run from the village near Cragg Vale Church. Entry on the day is £8 cash and registration and refreshments are based at Cragg Church.

A mountain fell race on 1 July 2026 from Ribblehead to the top of Whernside. The 10.5 km route climbs about 468 m, follows the old hikers route and the Three Peaks walkers path back to The Station Inn.

A traditional parish boundary run and walk around Patterdale with four route options from a 28 mile full boundary to a family downhill minibeat. Entry fees support Patterdale C of E Primary School and St Patrick's Church.
