Trail Running calendar near Badminton 2026-2027

A one lap trail run at Myncen Farm on 17 July 2026, the Cider 5K.ish takes place across fields and farm tracks with a 90 minute cutoff, limited entry and weekend camping and challenge options.

A 12 hour solo timed trail event at Myncen Farm near Blandford Forum offering lap based running on farm tracks and fields, camping over the weekend, a 204 entrant cap and a minimum age of 18.

A weekend trail running festival at Mill Farm, Lurgashall, featuring 50 km, marathon, 16 mi, 12 km and a 2 km LittleFeet run, with camping, glamping, on-site village activities and stocked aid stations including PH1000 electrolyte.

Trail races on the private Merthyr Mawr Estate within Merthyr Mawr Warren National Nature Reserve, featuring a 12K course and a new 40K route that extends along the Glamorgan Heritage Coast.

An evening trail event at Wendover Woods on 18 July 2026 supporting the Chilterns Neuro Centre, with 10K, 5K and a 1.5K accessible loop. Routes are fully marked and marshalled and the event is licensed by the Trail Running Association.

Three coastal ultramarathons on 18 and 19 July 2026 follow Wales Coast Path into Cardiff Bay, offering 100, 50 and 30 mile options across beaches, dunes, cliffs and forest with checkpoint support and GPS tracking.

Forest Warrior at Huntley Estate includes an obstacle mud run with climbs, crawls, hills and muddy swamps, plus a mostly obstacle free mud run. A separate kids 1 km race includes a medal and drink.

An endurance event at Huntley Estate on July 18, 2026 that pairs eight physical strength tests with 1 kilometre off-road runs after each test, with official times, medals, age group categories, parking and space for spectators.

A 12 hour night trail event at Bridgend Miniature Railway where runners complete as many 10 mile loops as they can across two to three route options, with marked routes, Base Camp support and a 30 runner limit.

A 5 km mud obstacle course at Westpoint, Exeter on 18 July 2026 featuring climbing, crawling and sliding. Open to ages 13 and over, with staggered wave starts, on-site parking and a minimum fundraising target.

A 5k obstacle event at Worcester Racecourse featuring muddy climb, crawl and slide elements across grass and pavement. Wave starts manage numbers, the event is for ages 13 and over and basic onsite facilities include refreshments and toilet..

A muddy 5k obstacle course at Stoke Park, Guildford on 18 July 2026 that raises funds for Cancer Research UK. Waves run every 15 minutes, minimum age 13, with on-site toilets, refreshments and limited parking.

A one lap trail run at Myncen Farm near Blandford Forum on 19 July 2026 with optional weekend camping. The course crosses fields, tracks and wild flowers, has a 64 runner limit, and a stated entry fee of £10.

A one lap trail fun run on private farmland near Blandford Forum, held alongside the Bell Plod with a separate medal. Limited to 100 entrants, minimum age four, with a weekend camping option.

A two lap, undulating trail event on privately owned farmland near Blandford Forum. The Apple Plod 10K.ish welcomes runners and walkers, has limited entry, and offers optional camping over the weekend.

Trail races at Winwick Hall Estate on 19 July 2026 include fully marked *10k* and *5k* routes plus a *2k* children’s race, on varied terrain with on-course support. A share of entry fees benefits the Bruce Green Foundation.

Wye Valley Tunnel Run on 19 July 2026 features fun runs plus 10 km, half marathon and marathon routes that use the Wye Valley Greenway and long tunnel. Courses are well marked with feed stations and event medals.

Two trail races in Aymestrey, Herefordshire, both climbing to the Iron Age hillfort at Croft Ambrey. Routes are fully marked with water stations and a separate juniors 2 km race with medals.

A traditional off-road fell race on 19 July 2026 at Selworthy Beacon, about 4 miles with 1000 ft ascent and self-navigation required; entry is £12 for FRA members and £14 for non-members.

A chip timed five mile cross country race through Queen Elizabeth Country Park on Sunday 19th July 2026. The event marks the club's 50th anniversary and features on site race headquarters and refreshments.
