Clarendon Marathon : 4 October 2026

The Clarendon Marathon is a point to point charity marathon held from Salisbury to Winchester along the historic Clarendon Way. The full route covers 26.2 miles and follows country tracks and paths, with more than 90% of the course off road. The route uses ancient trails and includes mapped information and elevation data for participants.

Entry is all inclusive where buses run. Every participant receives a complimentary t-shirt, a medal at the finish, and a printed Souvenir Program; the program is also available as a downloadable PDF. Organisers provide route resources including 2D and 3D maps, an ascent and descent graph, and a GPX file of the full marathon course.

A shorter, informal Mini option covers the final five miles from Farley Mount Country Park to the main finish. The Mini includes a bus transfer to the start location and the same finish items as the full event. The event is managed by the Rotary Clubs of Winchester and Salisbury and is used to raise funds for a range of charities and nonprofit organisations.

The Clarendon Marathon publishes race results and photographic galleries from previous years and lists event sponsors and partners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
