Run to the Sea Bournemouth is a point-to-point ultramarathon over 50 km from Moors Valley Country Park to Hengistbury Head in Bournemouth. The course follows the Castleman Trailway for part of the route and continues along the seafront. The organizer describes the route as flat and scenic, with forest trails and coastal paths.

The event date is Saturday 3 October 2026. The entry closing date is 12 September 2026 unless the race sells out earlier.

Course features, entries and services

The race provides a fully signed course and a GPS route file before race day. There are four feed stations at about 10 km intervals. Runners may arrange for their own food to be delivered to feed stations 3 and 4. A 9.5 hour cut-off time applies.

Experience moonlit trail running under headtorch on a scenic 10 km loop at Moors Valley Country Park, with the choice of one, two or three laps. Enjoy fluorescent markers and a Trees Not Tees option to plant a tree instead of a medal.

Enjoy a scenic, flat coastal run at the Bournemouth Coastal TEN, choose 10 mile or 10 km along Hengistbury Head and Boscombe Pier. Chip timing, a finisher medal and post race refreshments make it a perfect seaside challenge for all abilitie..
