Chilly Hilly - West Wight

Chilly Hilly is a 10 mile cross country run organised by West Wight Sports and Community Centre on the West Wight. The route covers varied terrain and hills and is described by past entrants as offering extensive coastal and island views along the course.

The event is scheduled for 13 December 2026 and has limited entry places. A memento is provided to participants. Past feedback highlights consistent elements of the event: visible course marshals and volunteers, clear organisation, notable wind and hilly sections, and food and drink served after the finish including mince pies and mulled wine. Several reports also mention a scarf-style medal as a prize.

Entrants have commented on on-course support and safety briefings, and many note that weather conditions can be windy. The organiser sets an entry fee; published pricing for available offers lists a fee of GBP 27.50 for the 2026 entry period. The event takes place in Great Britain on the western side of the Isle of Wight and is run as an offline, in-person event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
