The Doughnut Dash is organised by Saturn Too and takes place at Dare Valley Country Park in Aberdare. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules. Entry pricing varies with member rates and UK Athletics affiliated club discounts.

This is a 7 hour Time Challenge that allows participants to choose how far to run. The minimum recognised distance is 3 km. A full lap is listed as 7 km or 4.37 miles but the course may be changed to a 3.28 mile loop depending on conditions. There are 3 km and 5 km turn points within the lap to support UK Athletics age rules.

The course runs on well maintained footpaths around the country park with views of the surrounding countryside and is suitable for road trainers. Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a themed medal. Distance pins are awarded for half marathon or longer distances and are attached to the medal ribbon. Finishers receive a goody bag and a selection of refreshments is provided at the start and finish of each lap, including vegan options and ice cream.

Venue facilities include toilets, a cafe by race HQ and free parking. There is a non secure bag area. Bone conducting headphones only are permitted. Trail races on the private Merthyr Mawr Estate within Merthyr Mawr Warren National Nature Reserve, featuring a 12K course and a new 40K route that extends along the Glamorgan Heritage Coast.

Three coastal trail races follow the Wales Coast Path to a shared finish at Cardiff Bay, offering 100 miles, 50 miles and 30 miles routes with marked navigation, checkpoints and drop bag support.

A 100 km race on the Beacons Way through the Brecon Beacons with 3,178 m ascent. Self-navigation with map and compass is mandatory and entrants must meet qualifying experience and kit requirements.

A 100 mile self navigation ultramarathon across the Brecon Beacons with 6143 m ascent, 10 staffed checkpoints, mandatory map and compass skills, GPS tracking and UTMB and ITRA points.
