Trail Running calendar near Axmouth 2026-2027

A 7 mile multi terrain race through footpaths, bridleways and quiet country lanes around Tywardreath, Cornwall. The hilly course starts and finishes at the village pub and raises funds for local charities.

A 100 mile self navigated ultramarathon across the Brecon Beacons with 6143 m of ascent, 10 checkpoints, live GPS tracking and mandatory mountain navigation skills. Entrants must meet qualifying criteria and carry specified safety kit.

Experience a scenic off road run alongside the River Dart in Devon. This community focused event features an 11km main course and a 1 mile fun run with medals for all finishers and a post race BBQ.

A four mile evening run in Westbury on 5 August 2026 supporting Brain Tumour Support, with all entry fees given to the charity, pottery mementos for participants and prizes for top finishers and best helmet.

An evening cross country event at North Perrott Cricket Club offering a two-lap 10K and a one-lap 6K fun run. Entries are limited to 250 and all profits support local community projects.

Two trail ultras on the Mendip Way on 8 August 2026 finishing at Uphill Sands Beach, featuring wooded sections, hilltop views, multiple aid stations and a cupless format with professional medical cover.

Tackle the Sticklepath Horseshoe a 15.5 km fell race over rugged moorland with 519 m climb. Pre entry is limited so book early. Bring map compass and solid navigation skills as this event is not suitable for beginners.

A pancake-flat *10 km* out and back along the Brecon and Monmouthshire canal between Gilwern and Llangattock, set in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Finishers receive a medal, there is a drink station at 5 km, and entries are online only.

A multi-distance running event in Bath with sections through two former railway tunnels and along the Kennet & Avon Canal. Distances range from 500 m to 50 km, including 5 km, 10 km, half marathon, marathon and 50 km.

A mainly trail 5k loop from Peveril Point along the Jurassic Coast to Anvil Point Lighthouse and back into Swanage. The race is part of Swanage Lifeboat Week and one of six events in the Purbeck Trail Series.
