Event overview

The Saints & Smugglers 100 Mile Challenge Part Deux takes place on 26 and 27 September 2026 in Looe, Cornwall. The event covers 100 Miles and is organised by Purple Gecko Events. The start and finish are at the Hannafore Hotel in Looe. Participants have 39 hours to complete the route. Registration closes 1 August 2026. Entry fees start from £175. The event is timed by ST App Service; there will be no chip timing.

Course and logistics

The route crosses Cornwall twice and runs along both the north and south Cornish coastlines. The course includes about 18,000 ft of elevation gain and two ferry crossings, at Rock and Fowey. During normal ferry operating times a race bib grants passage; outside those times the ferries will operate as a private hire for competitors, with a maximum turnaround time of 15 minutes per ferry. The event is a fully supported, self-navigation exercise with live GPS tracking. There are seven feed stations or checkpoints with cut offs along the route. Runners are required to carry a mandatory kit list. The Hannafore Hotel will host the event for the weekend and is offering a discount to participants who choose to stay there.
